WELCOME TO ANIMAL.DIRECT. We hope you find it useful. By accessing our servers, websites, or content from there (together, "A.D."), Copyright logo, you agree to these Terms of Use ("TOU").

LICENSE. If you are 18 or older, we grant you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, non-assignable, non-sublicense-able license to access A.D. in compliance with the TOU; unlicensed access is unauthorized. You agree not to license, distribute, make derivative works, display, sell, or "frame" content from A.D., excluding content you create and sharing with friends/family. You grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, unlimited, worldwide, fully paid/sublicense-able license to use, copy, perform, display, distribute, and do derivative works from content you post.

USE. You agree not to use or provide software (except for general purpose web browsers and email clients, or software expressly licensed by us) or services that interact or interoperate with A.D., e.g., for downloading, uploading, posting, flagging, emailing, search, or mobile use. Robots, spiders, scripts, scrapers, crawlers, etc. are prohibited, as are misleading, unsolicited, unlawful, and spam postings/email. You agree not to collect users' personal and contact information.

LISTING. Each listing has validity on A.D. The first two listings for new users need to be validated by the administrator then will be activated directly on A.D. Users can upload photos and videos and not exceed each photo 10 M.B.

PAID ADS. Any paid ad detected as scam or spam will be removed, and block publisher without refund ad fee, this item in the agreement will be used as evidence for any PayPal Claim in future, Once you agree on these terms, you accept this point as well.
 

MODERATION. You agree we may moderate A.D. access and use it at our sole discretion, e.g., by blocking (e.g., I.P. addresses), filtering, deletion, delay, omission, verification, and access/account/license termination. You agree (1) not to bypass said moderation, (2) we are not liable for moderating, not moderating, or representations as to moderating, and (3) nothing we say or do waives our right to moderate, or not. All site rules are incorporated herein.

DISCLAIMER. MANY JURISDICTIONS HAVE LAWS PROTECTING CONSUMERS AND OTHER CONTRACT PARTIES, LIMITING THEIR ABILITY TO WAIVE CERTAIN RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES. WE RESPECT SUCH LAWS; NOTHING HEREIN SHALL WAIVE RIGHTS OR RESPONSIBILITIES THAT CANNOT BE WAIVED.

To the extent permitted by law, (1) we make no promise as to A.D., its completeness, accuracy, availability, timeliness, propriety, security, or reliability; (2) your access and use are at your own risk, and A.D. is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE"; (3) we are not liable for any harm resulting from (a) user content; (b) user conduct, e.g., illegal conduct; (c) your A.D. use; or (d) our representations; (4) WE AND OUR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES ("AD ENTITIES"), DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES & CONDITIONS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT; (5) AD ENTITIES ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS (E.G. OF PROFIT, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL).

MISC. Users complying with prior written licenses may access A.D., thereby until authorization terminated. Otherwise, this is the exclusive and entire agreement between us. If a TOU term is unenforceable, other times are unaffected. If TOU translations conflict with the English version, English controls. See Privacy Policy for how we collect, use, and share data.

 

Avoiding Scams

Deal locally, face-to-face —follow this one rule and avoid 99% of scam attempts.

• Do not provide payment to anyone you have not met in person.
• Beware offers involving shipping - deal with locals you can meet in person.
• Never wire funds (e.g. Western Union) - anyone who asks you to is a scammer.
• Don't accept cashier/certified checks or money orders - banks cash fakes, then hold you responsible.
• Transactions are between users only, no third party provides a "guarantee".
• Never give out financial info (bank account, social security, PayPal account, etc).
• Do not rent or purchase sight-unseen—that amazing "deal" may not exist.
• Refuse background/credit checks until you have met the landlord/employer in person.
• "animal direct voicemails" - Any message asking you to access or check "animal direct voicemails" or "animal direct voice messages" is fraudulent - no such service exists.

Recognizing Scams

Most scams attempts involve one or more of the following:

• Email or text from someone that is not local to your area.
• Vague initial inquiry, e.g. asking about "the item." Poor grammar/spelling.
• Western Union, Money Gram, cashier check, money order, Paypal, Zelle, shipping, escrow service, or a "guarantee."
• Inability or refusal to meet face-to-face to complete the transaction.
